An independent fan site
This site is made by collectors, for collectors. It is not produced, approved, endorsed or sponsored by any card game publisher, any marketplace, or any of the sources named on this page, and is not affiliated with any of them.
Pokémon and Pokémon character names are trademarks of Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK inc. and The Pokémon Company. Magic: The Gathering is a trademark of Wizards of the Coast LLC. Cardmarket, TCGplayer, CardTrader and eBay are trademarks of their owners. These names are used only to say which game, card or shop something is about.
Card pictures and card text
The pictures, names and text of the cards belong to their publishers and artists. They are shown so you can tell which card is which; we do not own them and cannot license them to anyone.
If you hold rights in something shown here and want it changed or taken down, write to us through the contact page and we will deal with it promptly.
Where the cards come from
- Pokémon cards: TCGdex, an open database of Pokémon cards.
- Magic cards: Scryfall. This site is not approved or endorsed by Scryfall, and its Magic pages are free to everyone.
Mistakes can creep in along the way. If you spot one, please tell us.
Prices
Prices come from Cardmarket and TCGplayer (through TCGdex and Scryfall), CardTrader and eBay. They are updated about once a day, may be out of date by the time you look, and are a guide only: not an offer, and not financial advice. The marketplace always has the final price.
Some links to marketplaces may earn us a commission; the affiliate disclosure explains how.
The card scanner
The scanner recognises cards on your phone: the camera's picture never leaves it. When the scanner is not sure and you pick the right card, a fingerprint of the picture (a list of numbers, not the picture) is kept to recognise that card better next time. The models it uses, with their licences and sources, are listed at the end of this page.
Software
The site is built with open-source software, among which Laravel, Livewire, Alpine.js, Tailwind CSS and Chart.js, all under the MIT licence. Our thanks to the people who make them.
The card scanner's parts and their licences
To recognise cards, your phone is handed these models. Each is used as published, at the version linked, under its own licence.
- ccgdetector (card corner detector): MIT. Its source, at the version we use
- Milo (card fingerprint model): AGPL-3.0. Its source, at the version we use
- Tesseract tessdata_fast, English (text recognition): Apache-2.0. Its source, at the version we use
The way the scanner works is ported from Mault (MIT licence, copyright 2026 Kenneth Bass). github.com/maultxyz/mault
It runs on your phone with ONNX Runtime Web (MIT licence) and tesseract.js (Apache 2.0 licence).
